We are Ocean Friendly Certified!
Jane is committed to being an Ocean Friendly Certified Restaurant. Growing up in Santa Barbara has given me an unmeasurable love, respect and stewardship for our oceans and beaches. We are proud and committed to protecting our shores in our efforts at jane Restaurant and are proud to be “Ocean Friendly Certified” by the Surfrider Foundation.
Here are a few things we do as part of our certification:
No expanded polystyrene use (aka Styrofoam).
Proper recycling practices are followed.
Only reusable tableware is used for onsite dining, and disposable utensils for takeout food are provided only upon request.
No plastic bags offered for takeout or to-go orders.
We do not use plastic straws.
No beverages sold in plastic bottles.
Vegetarian/vegan food options are offered on a regular basis
Water conservation efforts, such as low-flow faucets and toilets, are implemented.
Energy efficiency efforts such as LED lighting and Energy Star appliances, are in place.

Flower Workshop with Camille of Camellia Floral Design
Come learn to make a bright, beautiful spring flower arrangement at Jane at the Marketplace in Goleta on Tuesday, April 16th from 6 - 8:30pm - $85. Roses, ranunculus, flowering branches and tulips -- enjoy the BEST flower month of the year while hanging out at the best restaurant! Camille gives you the rundown and one-on-one instruction, while Jane spoils you with homemade pizzas, light bites and wine.

We are Wild about the Santa Barbara Zoo
For the month of March we will be featuring the Margerum “Flamingo Chardonnay” and “Otter Pinot Noir” and will be donating $1 for every glass we sell to directly benefit the food bill for the Otters and Flamingos in our Santa Barbara Zoo. The Santa Barbara Zoo works diligently in conservation efforts both locally and globally including The California Condor Recovery Program, The Chanel Island Fox Recovery Program, Frog Watch USA, Gorilla Gardens, managing captive animal populations and species survival planning.
